Here is a list of some great sites i have visited over the years that have alot of freeware stuff or offer invaluable help with all things PC related.
MajorGeeks
This is an amazing site, at the root of MajorGeeks are files for your computer that tweak, repair, back-up, enhance, protect and more. MajorGeeks as a very large toolbox for your PC. Having the right tool for the job is all you need to make your PC behave the way you want it. It also has a really good support forum that helps with all sorts of issues.
I used to use this site a fair bit, they have a variety of on line scans and tests that Speed up your PC & maximize performance they will also test your pc to make sure you have the latest & greatest drivers for your PC. Detect and remove dangerous malware and a disk scan that will keep your Hard Drives working at full speed. This site is full of help and advice in its pages and especially their forums were they cover a wide range of topics and issues, a definite gem to have in your bookmarks.
This site offers free technical support for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP and Linux. and is run by a string of volunteers. This site also offers help to the novice and the advanced, they have help and tutorials on practically everything pc related you can think off.
Havnt been on this one for a while but this is a site that has over 850 free games that you can play,all games listed on AcidPlay are reviewed and given a percentage rating.
This site has an impressive count of RPG games you can play online, suitable for all ages. I got hooked into this site a while back, and was pretty impressed.
Admittedly i have only visited this site once but i thought it was pretty cool, for those that dont know, Abandonia is an index of abandonware, “dedicated to classic DOS games”. Abandonware titles are games (or software) with expired copyright, or games which are no longer supported by the publisher. As the game’s focused on DOS games, you won’t find any of the ‘newer’ abandonware games here, but the vast DOS archive should satisfy most of your gaming needs — at least for a while.
Playandwin, bigfishgames, Miniclip
There are plenty of sites were you can play online games for free either as a single player or on a variety of multiplayer games. Playandwin is actually one of my favorite online games site, but all 3 i linked to will have something for everyone.
A large based site that offers alot of tech support & help as well as reviews on the best freeware available on the web, all the freeware programs each selected by independent editors because of their quality and performance.
I use this site alot and found it very useful, as the name suggests this indexes a very large number of files that are free and trust me they have a huge collection to pick from, They also offer Tech magazines for free aswell.
This is another little gem, it holds a vasy array of tutorials, freeware, help & support as well as links to free games, rareware. Here is a little list of the cats they have (and trust me there is heaps more)

This site will help you to make your own DVD, Blu-ray, AVI, MKV, MP4 etc that can be played on your standalone DVD Player, Blu-ray Player, Media Center or portable device from video sources like DVD, Video, TV, DV, AVCHD or downloaded movie clips like AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, Flash, etc.
I love this site, the people here are very friendly and helpful. They have tech support, help guides, tutorials, hints and tips & reviews on absolutly everything you could think off, they also offer the latest news reports from the pc world. A must see, at least to have a gander.
A great site especially if you are an avid gamer, this overs over 100,000 game walkthroughs & tips and tricks (inc cheats) for not only the pc but practically every console and hand held console ever made.
Game Wiki Guides - IGN WIKIS -CHEATS . WIKI GUIDES . WALKTHROUGHS . FAQS
Just like the above mentioned site this offers the same things, it does however also offer all the latest gaming news, reviews, aswell as tech support and videos.
I used this site many a time when i used to do a lot of Photoshop stuff, they have tutorials & guides (including showing you via videos etc) on things Photoshop as well as various downloads for your application.
Massive Collection of photo editing tutorials & Photoshop actions
The title is pretty self explanatory i think.
I haven’t actually been on this one for quite a while, but it is still a pretty epic site. Here you will find the best freeware software, some reviews and tech news. Home of the nLite addons and video tutorials, they also offer alot of addons for social networks, skype, msn, browser addons and such like.
Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way webpages look and function. There are hundreds of scripts are already available for free. And if you’re the tinkerer sort, you can also write your own.
This is a site used by the above app, it also has a lot of scripts/addons for chrome and other browsers, they have scripts for just about anything, included java.These scripts enhance the sites you already use EVEN FOR RIGHT HERE ON TUMBLR. I would say a word of caution though, be aware of what you are using incase any nasties find its way into your pc’s.
Another great freeware indexing site and one of my favorites to be honest. They are basically a download site that provides access to thousands of Windows software titles, that are either free to keep (freeware) or can be downloaded as a free trial (shareware) and their collection is massive.
Another online games site that offers a wide variety of Flash Games.
HouseCall is Trend Micro’s highly popular and capable on-demand scanner for identifying and removing viruses, Trojans, worms, unwanted browser plugins, and other malware. HouseCall provides a quick and easy check for threats regardless of the protection status of your existing security solution - downside to this site is that the scans take take absolutely aggesss.
Free Tutorials, Guides, & How-to’s for both beginners & the advanced covering a wide range of pc related things.
I think that will do for now lol, obviously there is literally millions more out there.

JACKSONVILLE, NC (WECT/WITN) – A man wanted for first degree murder in the Atlanta area was arrested in Onslow County. Deputies in Onslow County say the man hid a large handgun in a body cavity.
And
The sheriff’s office said Ward was examined at the hospital and released back into Trooper Merritt’s custody, who took Ward to be booked into the jail.
Ward was strip searched before being booked and underwent the standard “squat and cough” procedure. According to the sheriff’s office, Ward used another person’s identity during the arrest and booking process.
Detention officers found a .38 caliber handgun in Ward’s cell the next day. Jailers eventually discovered Ward stored the 6-inched barrel gun in his rectum. He will be taken to the hospital for examination of possible injuries.

The little old lady
I found this a while ago and thought it was epic, thought i would share.
A little old lady went into the Bank of America one day carrying a bag of money. She insists that she must speak with the President of the bank to open a savings account because it’s a lot of money.
They finally get her into the presidents office and he asks her how much she would like to deposit. She says she has $165,000 and then dumps it out of the bag onto his desk. The president was surprised and of course curious as to how she came by all this cash, so he asks her. The old lady says, “I make bets.”
The president replies, “Bets? What kind of bets?” and she says, “For example, I’ll bet you $25,000 that your balls are square.”
“Ha!” says the president, “That’s a stupid bet, you can never win that kind of bet.”
The old lady says, “So, would you like to take my bet?”
“Sure,” says the president, “I’ll bet $25,000 that my balls are not square!”
The little old lady says, “OK, but since there is a lot of money involved is it OK with you if I bring my lawyer with me tomorrow at 10:00 AM to witness?”
“Sure,” says the president.
That night the president got very nervous about the bet and spent a long time in front of a mirror checking his balls, turning from side to side, again and again, thoroughly checking them out until he was sure that there is no way his balls are square and that he will win the bet.
The next morning at 10 AM the little old lady appears with her lawyer at the president’s office. She introduces the lawyer to the president and repeats the bet, that $25,000 says the president’s balls are square. The president agrees with the bet again and the old lady asks him to drop his pants so they can see. The president does this.
The little old lady looks closely at his balls and then asks if she can feel them.
“Well, OK” says the president, $25,000 is a lot of money, so I guess you should be absolutely sure.”
Then he notices that the lawyer is quietly banging his head against the wall and he asks the old lady, “What is wrong with your lawyer?”
She replies, “Nothing, except I bet him $100,000 that by 10 AM today I’d have The Bank of America’s president’s balls in my hands!
